My First Airplane 05/12/2009
![]() Yep, it's true. I am now the proud owner of my very own airplane. This past week Brian, Sparky, and Duane picked up my "brand new" Stinson 108. It's a little rough around the edges (what do you expect for $100 price tag?), but incredibly the engine still runs! This is a picture of the 108 in front of the corn crib that it called home for the past 25 years. With a lot of elbow grease and a little bit of magic, you'll see a desert pink Stinson 108 dancing across the Iowa skies. CommentsDan 05/12/2009 19:41

Sweet Plane, did it really only cost $100 or was that a joke?

Some people are just lucky, that should be the perfect plane for you. Glad to see it.

Congratulations on your new toy. While I am too far away to help, if there are any parts or documentation you need, don't hesitate to give me a call or email. I've got the family's 50 year collection of 108 parts. Lisa will be back in the States from June 20 for the summer, so she can dig out whatever you might need.
