Half Fast Flying Adventures

Things are really quiet on our front... Brian is still working on the Texan, and we're waiting for the flying season to come. We'll take some pictures this next weekend of some of our small projects.

In the meantime, for those of you who have airplanes, beginning this year the FAA requires re-registration of all civil aircraft and renewals of said aircraft every three years thereafter. What does this mean to you? If you don't want to lose your N-number, you need to pay a small re-registration/renewal fee (either by mail or online). The FAA will send out reminders, so make sure your address is current on the FAA's Civil Aircraft Registry website

One more full weekend in the hangar working on annuals (It's the Texan's turn this weekend), and then we should be all wrapped up and ready for spring flying. Stop on by. The weather's great!

On a side note, the picture to the right is our Texan back when it was just a young pup. We contemplate restoring it back to its original paint scheme. What's your thoughts?

Dan got tails... the tail of the T6, that is.
On Facebook, I just received an invite to join the Snowpocolypse. It's a cold, blustery night. There's no denying that. Definitely a good night to stay at home where it's warm in cozy.  Which works great for us.
We're still recuperating from a busy weekend in the hangar (I think I still have a Varsol high), continuing annuals on the three airplanes. Fortunately, Dan Soko and Travis and his family came to town on Saturday to help us out.  And Matthew joined the fun on Sunday. Thanks to all the help, we made some great headway and will have things back together in no time.
Stay warm!
